چکیده
Objectives: The four-wave longitudinal study explored developmental trajectories of self-esteem elementary school children and examined the predictive factors such as mother’s parenting behavior, children’s happiness adjustment associated with these trajectories. Methods: Trajectories from grades 1 to 4 were modeled using 1,659 drawn Panel Study on Korean Children (PSKC) 2015~2018. Growth Mixture Modeling (GMM) analysis was used estimate in 1~4. Using multiple logistic regression, identified then analyze whether parenting, happiness, affected latent class classification. Results: First, revealed a linear growth pattern over time. Second, GMM four childhood self-esteem, which low-increasing, low-decreasing, high-increasing, or moderate-decreasing group reflected normative trajectories. Third, warm academic performance adjustment, significant predicting classification change self-esteem.Conclusion: results showed individual differences heterogeneity development selfesteem. Groups’ initial different levels at first grade continue until 4. Developmental provide direction for interventions by level children. Especially, educational programs mothers’ performance, affect trajectories, would be needed. These findings meaningful foundation designing practical suggestions encourage

Self-esteem: An Evolutionary-Developmental Approach
While the research literature is replete with studies focusing on the developmental factors that affect self-esteem, little attention has been paid to the source or functions of the self-esteem motive itself. The present paper aims at exploring some ways in which an evolutionary-developmentalpsychological (EDP) perspective can explain the adaptive nature of self-esteem. This paper attempts to a...

Responsibility in Childhood: Three Developmental Trajectories
In this article, we analyze the development of responsibility through the lens of the Peruvian Matsigenka, Samoan, and middle-class Los Angeles, California, childhoods. We propose that recognizing social awareness, social responsiveness, and self-reliance as keystone properties of responsibility supports an argument that children’s routine work at home enables not only social but also moral res...
متن کاملA finite mixture model of growth trajectories of adolescent alcohol use: predictors and consequences.
The current study sought to identify classes of growth trajectories of adolescent alcohol use and to examine the predictors and outcomes associated with the classes. Alcohol use was assessed from Grades 7 to 12 in a school-based sample. Latent growth mixture modeling was used, and results indicated 5 discrete longitudinal drinking patterns. The 2 most common drinking patterns included occasiona...
